AIQS (Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors) is the peak professional standards body for quantity surveyors and other built environment cost professionals. AIQS has 5,000+ members who work on construction projects in residential, commercial, civil, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and resources, and have job titles including Quantity Surveyor, Cost Estimator, Cost Planner, Cost Manager, Cost Engineer, Cost Consultant and Project Controllers.
THE PROBLEM
AIQS needed to a pathway for applicants to be assessed to become members, regardless of if they have come from an accredited/recognised university or not.
THE SOLUTION
Partnership with Pointsbuild to create the AIQS Academy, using the Pointsbuild platform is the underlying framework for a suite of 100 online topics.
Topics can be:
- Taken as the complete the AIQS pathway Program
- Taken individually for CPD obligations
- Grouped for an AIQS member’s “Professional Year”
