The Victorian Building Authority is the regulator of the building, plumbing and (from July 2014) architecture industries, providing domestic building consumer protection and ensuring the safety, liveability and sustainability of the built environment.
We manage a rigorous testing program to ensure plumbing and building practitioners meet high standards before we licence and register them.
